CONFIRMING YOUR BOOKING

Completing a booking request via our website does not automatically confirm your stay. To confirm the stay and reserve the dates, we require a 30% reservation deposit of the total price of your stay.

  • Free cancellation: You may cancel for free up to 30 days before arrival.

  • Non-refundable: Deposits are non-refundable for reservations made less than 30 days before arrival, or for early cancellations after the 30-day window.

Your stay is confirmed only after we process the deposit.

TOTAL PAYMENT

The remaining balance is due before or on the day of arrival. Guests are not permitted to enter the villa without full payment.

  • If paying via bank transfer, funds must be in our account by the day of check-in.

  • Payment can also be made in cash upon arrival. We accept Euros (€), US Dollars (USD), or Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

We require a damage deposit of $150 USD, payable in cash on arrival, to cover any damages, excessive cleaning, or missing items.

1. Purpose of the Deposit. The security deposit is held as a precaution against any damages, loss, or additional cleaning required as a result of the Guest’s stay at MIHIRA HOME. It is not a prepayment of rent or fees.

2. Coverage. The deposit may be used, in full or in part, to cover: Repair or replacement of damaged items, furniture, or fixtures. Replacement of missing or broken household items, including plates, glasses, or decor. Extra cleaning costs beyond standard housekeeping (e.g., excessive dirt, stains, or disorder). Any other costs directly resulting from the Guest’s negligence or misuse of the property.

3. Refund Conditions. The deposit will be refunded in full within 7 days after check-out, provided: No damage or excessive cleaning is required. All items and furnishings are present and in good condition. Check-out is completed on time and according to MIHIRA HOME’s policies. If deductions are necessary, a detailed statement and corresponding receipts (if applicable) will be provided to the Guest.

4. Payment and Refund Method. The deposit will be refunded using the same method unless otherwise agreed.

  • Check-in: 3:00 PM – flexible

  • Check-out: 11:00 AM

Special requests (early check-in, late check-out, etc.) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

VILLA INFORMATION

  • The villa includes 3 bedrooms, each with private bathrooms, garden patios, AC, towels & linens, safety box, and more.

  • Fully equipped kitchen, communal living areas, and terraces.

  • Private pool with sun beds.

  • Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa.

  • The villa encourages a mindful, connected experience. De do not have televisions, we have views.

  • Bank transfer (must be received before or on arrival)

  • Cash (EUR, USD, or LKR)

Credit card payments are not currently accepted.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS & EXCURSIONS

We can help arrange private drivers, surf lessons, yoga sessions, and local excursions. Please contact us to organize.

HOUSE RULES

  • No parties or events without prior approval.

  • Guests are responsible for valuables; we encourage you to store your valuables in the safe boxes provided in each bedroom.

  • Due to the layout of MIHIRA HOME, it's not suitable for young children or infants. We are also unable to provide extra beds at this time.

  • Quiet hours after 10 PM. Our home is located in a quiet village, and we ask guests to be mindful of noise, especially in the evenings. This helps maintain the peaceful atmosphere for both our guests and the local community.

  • Before leaving the house (and in the evenings), please ensure you properly lock the main door. We also encourage you to lock all bedroom doors, bathroom doors, and windows before leaving the house.

  • Should any damages or theft arise during the stay, we reserve the right to process an additional charge to the guest to cover the cost.

  • We have 3 different cameras to watch the perimeter of our villa. The option of having a night guard on the premises is available, just ask us about it.

  • No elevator or ramp is available at the property. There is one step at the entrance to enter the house and then stairs to access our terrace.

  • To create a smooth experience for our guests, we are unable to accommodate last-minute, same-day bookings, as we do not operate a 24-hour reception.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Free cancellation: Up to 30 days before arrival. Deposit refunded in full.

  • Non-refundable: Deposits for bookings made within 30 days of arrival, or cancellations after this period.

Refunds will be processed within 30 days.
